The KM Calc can be used if the alignment has station equations.

Adding KM stationing to the Railway model

Select the main alignment

The alignment chosen in Railway task Line is selected as the alignment for the stationing and should be shown in the dialog.

Create

Start by creating the KM stations. The internal stationing of the alignment is used by the function.

Give the KM value for the start of the alignment, and the Meter value in the start.

The dialog will show the Km+m at start of the alignment.

Common Limits

Both the KM stationing and the internal stationing is shown in Common limits. It is within these stations the railway model can be designed.

Station List

Add the list of stations the railway model should use when designed.

First: Give the first station for the railway model as KM+m. The station can not be lower than the start in Common limits.

Last: Give the last station for the railway model as KM+m. The station can not be higher than the last station in Common Limits. If you are not allowed to give the last station as you want, round of the station value to a smaller value.

Dist: Give interval for the station list.

Add: When First, Last and Interval are given, press Add to create the Station List. Use Add for adding a single station, given as First.

Clear: Clears the Station List.

File

Import; KM Stationing from WR1 File If KM stationing is saved in a WR1 file, you can import the stationing here. Current stationing will be overwritten.

Import; KM Stationing from Km data XML File KM stationing is internally saved in a XML file. You can import the stationing here. Current stationing will be overwritten.

Import; KM Stationing from InfraModel File If KM stationing is saved in a InfraModel XML file, you can import the stationing here. Current stationing will be overwritten.

Export; KM Stations into WR0 File The fictive KM post's coordinates are exported to text fiel format WR0. The coordinates represents the Station Equation point on the alignment.

Export; KM Stationing into WR1 file Text file format containing KMs and from to stations for the internal stationing. This format can be used to edit the Station equations, and imported back to the KM Calc function.

Export; KM Stationing into InfraModel file This function adds KM data to an existing InfraModel XML file. You will be asked to select the InfraModel file containing the alignment.
