Vertex

Horizontal window

On top of the menu, you find information identifying the selected vertex.

Shortcut menu for vertex has the following selections:

Vertex

<Pipe Type> (<Connection Number> - <Connection Number>)

Move

The function is used for moving a vertex. Place the crosshair upon the selected vertex, press the right mouse button and select Move from the menu.

The command prompts for:

Position (x,y,z):

Click in the drawing where you want the vertex to be moved.

If you know the coordinates to where the vertex is to be moved, you may very well key in the coordinates from the keyboard.

Delete

The function is used for deleting a vertex. Place the crosshair upon the selected vertex, press the right mouse button and select Delete from the menu. The dialogue box Delete Vertex appears.

Confirm by clicking Yes or cancel by clicking No.

By pressing Yes the vertex is deleted, and the pipe becomes straightforward between the previous and the next connection/vertex.

Level (z)

The function is used for changing the elevation of a vertex on a pipe. Click the pipe trench to make the vertex visible, place the crosshair upon the vertex to be changed, press the right mouse button, and select Level (z) from the menu.

The command prompts for:

Level <Elevation> :

Key in the desired elevation. Confirm by pressing Enter or use the right mouse button.

Delete

The function is used for deleting a vertex. Place the crosshair upon the selected vertex, press the right mouse button, and select Delete from the menu. The dialogue box Delete Vertex appears.

Confirm by clicking Yes or cancel by clicking No.
