Export to Survey Data
In this dialog, you can export the tunnel geometry to specified survey equipment formats that can be read by some of the most widely used survey equipment (Leica, Trimble, Ankval).
The Current Road Model is collected from the Novapoint Project ID dialog.
You must specify the Tunnel Geometry File in this dialog. You can specify the geometry file by clicking on the button marked with “…”.
You can choose to export to either the specified format for Leica RoadRunner or the more general LandXML format including a special tunnel cross-section extension of the format defined by Leica. When exporting to Leica RoadRunner the system automatically produces the database files which can be imported directly into the survey equipment in addition to the LandXML file. For Leica RoadRunner export, the cross-sections are exported as closed polygons, but for the general LandXML export the cross-sections are exported without the base.
You can choose whether to export Only the Cross Sections with Geometry Changes (changes of road width, cross fall changes, tunnel definition changes, etc.) or you can specify the exact cross-sections to be exported by choosing the Chainage Interval option.
Specify an Output File by clicking on the “…” button next to the Output File text control.
Click on Export to perform the calculations and produce the output file.
