Insert Leader to Point Elevation
Use this tool to set a prefix for a point elevation.
Find it here:
MOUS_ICO Menu: Landscape > Elevation tools - drawing> Insert leader to point elevation
MOUS_ICO Toolbar: Landscape II: Insert leader to point elevation
Working procedure
Start the function and the command prompts:
Select point height to move:
Select point elevation - a leader will be created from the insertion point to a new position.
Notes:
The leader is actually a 3D polyline.
To adjust the position of the point elevation and its leader, just double-click the point elevation. Note that double-clicking, in this case, does not start the function. Move point elevation x,y.
To remove the leader, delete it. The point elevation will then return to the correct position.
About point elevations in Novapoint Landscape
The leveling tools are a set of functions working within the DWG file as well as interacting with the active terrain model. Editing and calculating point elevations must be done by using the leveling tools only. It does not work to use AutoCAD functions like move, copy, copyclip/paste, properties, attribute editor, etc. in order to edit or manage the appearance of the point elevations
Styles for point elevations and slope arrows can be created and managed inside New point elevations setup.
