Map Lines

This function allows you to draw, copy or modify lines to become map lines. The line types are adjusted to economical and technical maps. You will also be able to draw clouds from the lines.

If you draw lines with this command, the variable POLYLINEGENRATION is automatically set as 1. This is to ensure that lines with patterns located on a particular side of the line are to be distributed evenly along the line and on the right side if the line contains arcs.

Run the function from:

MOUS_ICO Toolbar: Not available from the Toolbar

MOUS_ICO Menu: Novapoint > Map > Map Lines

KEYB_ICO Command Line: Not available from the command line

The palette Novapoint Linetype Library will get initiated.

The line types are divided into features by graphic standard. For each feature, there is a line type file (*.LIN) where a definition of available map lines can be found.

The palette Novapoint Linetype Library gives you an overview of available map lines within the selected theme.

You can choose between Activate!, Change, Match, or Copy/C the wanted line type.
