Graphical Interpretation
This tool, in the tab “Geosuite”, may be used to add and edit interpreted points (either attached to boreholes or standalone) and lines. The tool may be used in Cross-section and Long-section views.
Add and edit interpreted points
Prepare the long/cross-sections to use.
Start the tool.
Specify “Name” and “Subtask of”.
“Layer classification”: select Attribute to set for new objects.
“Detailed layer description”: give a name to be shown in the model view (typically a soil name).
“Rating”: a relative index of quality, 0 to 5, where 5 is the highest quality (set by GeoSuite Presentation to 5 for drilled into bedrock more than 3 meters).
“Layer classification method”: indicates the origin of the interpretation - drawing, field investigation, etc..
“Remark”: any textual description of interest.
“Save to Geosuite project”: check this check box to save the data back to the GeoSuite Project - valid for point(s) attached with boreholes or standalone. Line(s) will not be saved to the GeoSuite project.
Select the object type to create - Point or Line.
Add new objects by pointing them out in the views…
Follow instructions in the pane presented for each object type.
Finish when ready.
