Create Area, Select Lines

Use this tool to generate an area where different lines, arcs, or polylines define the area.

MOUS_ICO Menu: Terrain > Areas > Create area, select lines

MOUS_ICO Toolbar: > Area > Create area, select lines

Working procedure

Start the function and the command prompts:

Pick a line, arc, or polyline:

Select the lines that surround the area you want to define, press 'Enter', or right-click.

A new 2D polyline of the area will be created in the active AutoCAD Layer.
