Calculation basis for 3D signs

In order for the function that defines 3D sign configurations to be able to find a reference height for the top foundation, we must refer to an calculation basis to use in Quadri.

What

You need to create an Elevation from Surface task in Quadri in order calculate a reference height for top foundation. 

Where

The task are created in Quadri. Go to the NOVAPOINT ribbon and select Elevation from surface under Terrain. 

How

Elevation from surface task can be created the following way:

Step 1:  Go to Quadri.

Step 2:  In the Explorer, select the correct summary task for the Elevation from surface task.

Step 3:  Go to the NOVAPOINT ribbon and select Elevation from surface from Terrain.

Step 4:  Enter a suitable name.

Step 5:  Select subtask.

Step 6:  Select the correct Calculation Basis for your design. The Calculation basis must cover the area of your design.

Step 7:  Click Finish to create the task.

The Elevation from surface task can now be used by Novapoint Road Sign to calculate a reference height.
