Technical Map Symbols

The function is used to insert Technical Map Symbols into the drawing at desired locations.

Run the function from:

MOUS_ICO Toolbar: Not available from the Toolbar

MOUS_ICO Menu: Novapoint > Map > Technical Map Symbols

KEYB_ICO Command Line: Not available from the command line

The function initiates the Symbol Library palette. All the pre-defined Technical Map Symbols are listed in the palette in the folder structure. Browse the list, select the desired Technical Map Symbols, and click the key Insert.

Command prompts for:

Specify insertion point or [Scale/X/Y/Z/Rotate/PScale/PX/PY/PZ/PRotate]: Pick the insert point to insert the map symbol. After inserting the map symbols at all the desired locations, click Enter or the right mouse button to exit. A menu pops up with the right button of the mouse. Select the desired option.

Palette Properties

Options such as Allow Docking, Move, Size, Auto Hide, Close, and Transparency are available with the shortcut menu on the palette.
