TRIMBLE DRAWING
INFO: Trimble Drawing 2024 v.3509 gives best compatibility with Novapoint 2024.4.
There is no new version of Trimble Drawing with this release of Novapoint.
NOVAPOINT ROAD
Upgrade tasks from NP20
FIXED: We had an issue with upgrading tasks properly making them unusable because of mismatch of taskversion and attachment after the upgrade.
Build model
FIXED: Some sections what should have been build was skipped. Mostly related to use of alignment as surface edge.
FIXED: Cases of crash when the roadbed was defined to hit the roadsurface before the inner slope.
REMOVED: We no longer produce the StakeoutStrings for ConstructionBed/LowestConstructionWorkSurface. They are not needed as stringlines for the surface on terrain is not possible to construct.
Alignment Design
ENHANCEMENT/FIXED: External Data shows better results in the longsection
ENHANCEMENT: Inserting new elements is handled better for more use cases
NEW: Line tasks now has Settings, making it possible to set taskpriority. In effect it will draw the resulting terrain more correct in the vertical drawing. The implementation is similar to what is found in the Road, Rail, WS (and other) tasks already.
Pavement Layer Properties
NEW: Configuration button
Letting you set more properties for the pavement layers.
Properties can be either a dropdown list or freetext
Choose to split the pavement objects based on thickness, or not.
Pavement Rehabilitation function
FIXED: The function has not been working during NP2024, forcing users to use NP2023.
ENHANCEMENT: The computation has had a complete overhaul, giving much better and consistent results along the model.
Subgrade
FIXED/ENHANCEMENT: For removal of unusable soil, topsoil and vegetation some minor changes has been made to improve the results.
NOVAPOINT RAILWAY
ENHANCEMENT: Cant deficiency (I) for transition curves are shown as "Start Cant deficiency/End Cant deficiency" using the transition curve speed.
ENHANCEMENT: dI/dt - Uses the speed of the transition curve instead of the speed on the element that has the cant.
FIXED: Cross-section Wizard for double-track could lose the connection to the alignment of the other track.
FIXED: Quantity reports did not handle stationing from other alignments with KM stationing (when using a option in CS Wizard)
