This update also embeds an update of Quadri for Windows.

NOTE: For NP2025 all updates will be distributed as full packages, reducing the need to install main version + update to be on the latest version.

TRIMBLE DRAWING 2025

General

• NEW: Novapoint 2025.2 is using Trimble Drawing 2025. For more information about this software visit Trimble Drawing. This update contains multiple improvements that are implemented up to Ares Commander 2025.SP2, which we also get with Trimble Drawing 2025 v3419.

• NEW: Trimble Drawing 2025 now supports showing Civil 3D features/objects that are present in the drawing.

• ENHANCEMENT: Less flickering when working with alignment design for Road, Railway and WS.

KNOWN ISSUE: When working with multiple monitors some dialogs are not scaling correctly when moved between monitors. This only occurs when operating with different scaling values between monitors. Issue applies to all Trimble Drawing versions.

NOVAPOINT

Task Selector

• NEW: Task Selector now has a possibility to more easily find tasks via a query/search dialog. This helps finding tasks in bigger projects, as opposed to using the drop-down and scrolling.

NOVAPOINT ROAD

Pavement Layer Properties

• ENHANCEMENT: Exporting Layer Properties put the filefolder of the road task in the project. It now uses Windows default for this and remembers previous location.

• FIXED: Case of duplicate properties being written on the pavement feature.

3D results

• FIXED: Some stringlines for pavement could take a shortcut in areas of roadsurface break/boundaries.

• In CAD:

  • IMPROVED: "Sump" value is now editable also in design dialogue (previously only editable in temp vertical drawing)

  • FIXED: Renumbering function - renumbering did not read the trench design list, only active trench was red

• In Quadri: 

  • IMPROVED: Export GML conversion rule "Norsk Vann skjema 2.2" - geometry reference and some default property settings for Pressure Pipes was missing

  • IMPROVED: Export IFC conversion rule - now using genericProperty "ConnectionName" as source for Connection From-To

NOVAPOINT LANDSCAPE

• ENHANCEMENT: Draw 3D poly from point elevations: Breaklines/3Dpolys will now remain connected to their point elevations - when a point elevation is edited the line will update on the fly.

• ENHANCEMENT: Draw 3D poly from point elevations: Possibility to undo while creating breaklines from snapping to point elevations.

• ENHANCEMENT: Draw 3D poly from point elevations: Layer option in the settings dialog is introduced.

• ENHANCEMENT: Setting out plants dialog: New plant attributes introduced in the dialog to match new attributes in the feature catalog 1.38

• ENHANCEMENT: New conversion rule Novapoint Landscape Trees introduced to support the workflow of getting tree objects i CAD into correct features in Quadri and automatically map to plant lists and tree textures.
