Relocate Chainage/Stationing Point

Use this function to shift the whole road model.

• This function moves all stations with the user-defined transformation value.

• This is a useful and time-saving feature if the stationing of the centerline is changed for some reason.

• Example of usage:

  1. Open the Alignment Design from the Novapoint Road menu.

  2. Select the centerline of the road model.

  3. Use the function Start Station of Alignment Design and redefine the stationing.

  4. Save the modified alignment using the button OK - Draw.

  5. Run the function Relocate Chainage Point.

  6. Define the transformation value (the relative change in stationing).

  7. Select OK, all stations in the road model will be relocated.

Run the function from the following location of the floating window Road Model:

MOUS_ICO Toolbar: Not available from Toolbar

MOUS_ICO Menu: Tools > Relocate Chainage Point
