NOVAPOINT ROAD

Alignment Design

• IMPROVED: When using 'Data > External Data' in the vertical window you can now limit the extent of the external data to have a cleaner look of that data. From-To chainages are related to the active alignment in the tool.

• IMPROVED/CHANGED: When using 'Modify > Break' the element fixation was changed on the rest of the alignment. Now it tries to retain the fixation as it was before breaking.

Roadmodel operations

• FIXED: Calculation could crash in certain situations.

• FIXED: Superelevation and widening dialog would not start in certain situations.

• FIXED: Detailed pavement did not handle Alignment as Surface Edge that had long names.

• IMPROVED: Pavement results is better in removing layers that are not relevant.

• FIXED: Sight Distance Analysis didn't remember the selected roadstandard when reentering the dialog for roadstandards with non-defined class.

Draw to CAD

• IMPROVED: Update/Redraw for Draw Roadmodel now uses relative path for finding the roadmodel in the drawing on the project.

• IMPROVED: Changes to the current Switzerland style for Draw Longitudinal Profile.

NOVAPOINT RAILWAY

Alignment Design

• FIXED: Save as LandXML could give a wrong cant in clothoid-clothoid combination.

Task

• IMPROVED: Conversion rule is updated to give the inner slope features some more identification in attribute for 'LayerDescription > Name'.

NOVAPOINT WATER AND SEWER

Quadri

• FIXED: Wrong coordinates was stored for ManholeCover extrusion reference line in Quadri.

• FIXED: Models that contained char Æ,Ø,Å, or had a space in the model name, failed in the model transformation.

Construction CAD

• IMPROVED: Decreased the number of steps in the AttachPipe-function.

Presentation CAD - Longsection

• IMPROVED: Extended visibility of long Trench name when hovering the selection column.

Presentation CAD - Export WS model to DWG

• IMPROVED: Added to reference point for top Manhole Cover

NOVAPOINT ROAD SIGN

Most of the changes in road sign for this module are market specific changes.

Finnish Version

NEW

The program has been updated with support for a number of the new signs launched by the Finnish Road Administration 01.06.2020 and updated in 2021 and 2022. The new version of the sign program can for a transitional period run in parallel with the version of the program that supports the previous standard.
