Geometry
The geometry of the entities of style elements is defined with reference to the following:
X direction reference:
LeftLsFrame: Left Edge - Outer Frame
LeftLsArea: Left Edge - Inner Frame
RightLsFrame: Right Edge - Outer Frame
RightLsArea: Right Edge - Inner Frame
Y direction reference:
TopLsFrame: Upper Edge - Outer Frame
TopLsArea: Upper Edge - Inner Frame
BottomLsFrame: Lower Edge - Outer Frame
BottomLsArea: Lower Edge - Inner Frame
The entities of style elements can be associated with the outer frame or inner frame by referring them to the above.
Frame
See Figure 1 below.
Figure 1: Frame design longitudinal profile
A = Left Margin
B = Right Margin
C = Upper Margin
D = Lower Margin
E = Margin for Water and Sewer Pipe Details
F = Profile Area
G = Insertion point/Local Origin/Inner Frame
H = Inner Frame/Lower Edge - Inner Frame/Chainage Axis/BottomLsArea
I = Outer Frame/Lower Edge - Outer Frame/BottomLsFrame
J = Inner Frame/Left Edge - Inner Frame/Elevation Axis/LeftLsArea
Strip Elements - Geometry
Strip elements are style elements and will have labels representing a detail of the reference line (trench, alignment, etc.). E.g. strip for chainage, terrain elevations, etc. These strip elements are bound by the following properties:
By default, the first strip element in the panel Elements View will be the first strip in the bottom label area (lower margin) and it will be connected to BottomLsArea (Lower Edge - Inner Frame).
The sequence and location of strip elements follows the listing order in the panel Elements View.
Changing the order of the strip elements in the panel Elements View will change the location of the strip elements.
All the strip elements are connected to each other.
The sequence of strip elements updates automatically when a strip element is removed or turned ON/OFF.
The order of the strip element in the panel Elements View and the strip height defines the geometry. Following are the additional Y direction reference for defining the geometry of entities of strip elements:
Top Strip
Middle Strip
Bottom Strip
DynamicBottomFrame
Notes:
The entities of style elements (including strip elements) can be associated with the outer frame or inner frame by referring them to suitable X and Y direction reference.
In case of strips for pipes, the strip element Stripe:PipeName has to be on the top in the list of pipe related strips (Elements View).
