Dialog Box
This list gives an overview of all areas defined as hard ground regions. For each area, identity, area, and identification of active/passive status are displayed.
Find it here:
MOUS_ICO Menu: Noise > Hard ground regions > Dialog box
or
nco: Select a hard ground region
MOUS_ICO Popup menu: Dialog box
This list allows the user to select multiple areas for the functions Delete, Active, Passive, and Show selection <. If you want to change the area, only one region can be selected.
Object handling
New region - The dialog box New hard ground region appears, (see New).
Change - The dialog box Change hard ground region appears, (see New).
Delete - Selected hard ground region(s) is/are deleted. The dialog box Delete hard ground region appears, see Delete.
Active - Sets the selected hard ground regions active. Only active hard ground regions are included in noise calculations.
Passive - Sets the selected hard ground regions to passive mode. Hard ground regions in passive mode are not included in noise calculations.
Show selection < - All dialog boxes are closed, and all hard ground regions selected in the list are highlighted in red on the screen. We return to the dialog box by pressing <Enter>.
Window handling
+ The height of the window in the dialog box showing the list of hard ground regions is increased.
- The height of the window in the dialog box showing the list of hard ground regions is decreased.
Status
Number - states the total number of hard ground regions defined in Novapoint Noise.
In list - the number of hard ground regions in the filtered list.
Selected - tells how many of the hard ground regions in the (filtered) list are selected.
Selection
Select all - All hard ground regions are selected.
Invert - All hard ground regions that are not selected are selected, and vice versa.
Reset - All selections are canceled.
From screen < - All dialog boxes are closed, and we may select one or more hard ground regions by selecting them from the drawing. We get back to the dialog box by pressing <Enter>. The selected hard ground regions will now be selected in the list.
AutoCAD does not allow more than 255 lines in a list to be selected at a time. If more than 255 objects are selected, a message will appear at the bottom of the screen, that the list cannot be used directly. This means that more than 255 objects cannot be selected by clicking the list and that the functions Select All, Invert, Reset, and/or From screen have to be applied when more than 255 objects are to be selected. We cannot see from the list which objects are selected, but Selected will show the number, and the functions for the relevant objects do work!
Filter
In the box Filter, we may specify which hard ground regions are to be shown in the list.
Status - Choose which hard ground regions are to be shown in the list. The choices are:
Active and passive: All hard ground regions
Only active: Only active hard ground regions
Only passive: Only passive hard ground regions
Identity - A filter based on identity, by stating certain names. The filtering by name follows AutoCAD's wildcard specifications (see Wildcard Characters in the AutoCAD help file).
Example:
“Water*” - all entities with identity starting with “Water”, no matter what comes after
“Parking?1*” - all entities with identity having exactly one character between “Parking” and “1”, e.g.: “Parking01”, “ParkingA123”, “Parking 1”, but not “Parking321”.
Misc.
OK - The dialog box is closed.
