Trimble Novapoint Help
This function automatically creates 3D signs from one or more sign positions in 2D.
The standard configuration for mast and foundation is read from the settings defined under "Settings - 3D Sign".
The following sequence of questions appears at startup:
Select sign handlers:
Select reference lines for one or more sign positions in 2D.
No 3D-information found on some/all sign handlers...
Do you want to assign a default combination to positions without data? [Y/N] <Y>:
Select a task
Select which "Elevation from Surface" task is to be used for calculating the base point.
Note: When selecting reference lines, it’s important to consider their existing configuration, particularly if they are already associated with a 3DSIGN setup. The system is designed to detect and interpret these pre-existing 3DSIGN configurations. This means that any detailed information, parameters, or specifications already embedded within those reference lines through a previous 3DSIGN application will not be discarded or overwritten. Instead, this existing data will be seamlessly integrated into the current drawing process.
By leveraging established 3DSIGN data, the system ensures that the new drawing automatically inherits the precise characteristics and details defined in the original configuration. This eliminates the need for manual re-entry of data, which not only saves considerable time but also drastically reduces the potential for errors.
The result is a more accurate, reliable, and consistent drawing that reflects the intended design and specifications.
