Save to Terrain
It is possible to save the calculated slope to the terrain model. Check the box next to the field Save to Terrain to enable the option. When the option is enabled, the fields group number and feature code will be enabled. The palate is shown below. Both the parameters group number and feature code are to be defined before the slope calculation is saved to the terrain model.
Group number - You have to select a group number before the slope calculation can be saved to the terrain model. Press the “3-dot-button” and the standard dialog for the group number appears. Select an existing group or define a new group. We recommend using a new number for each slope calculation being saved to the terrain model and defining a text for each group in the terrain model. Also, remember to set the correct priority for the new group. The slope calculation must have a higher priority than the existing terrain. Feature code - You need to select a feature code number before the slope calculation can be saved to the terrain model. Press the “3-dot-button” and the standard dialog box for feature codes appears.
