Installing

Find your installation for Novapoint. We always recommend you download and install the latest version with its updates for best performance.

Make sure to pick the Novapoint that matches your CAD software, either using Trimble Drawing or AutoDesk products.

Relating Novapoint to your CAD-software

The first time you start your Novapoint and wants to start the CAD software it is required that CAD has been started up prior to launching it from Novapoint. This is to make sure the installation of the CAD software was done properly and that all files are unpacked on the CAD software.

NOTE: If you have multiple AutoCAD, Civil3D or Map3D installed, then you can pick software to use in the Startup Settings.

1. Close Novapoint and Quadri.

2. In the Windows Startup menu find the Startup Settings for Novapoint.

3. Open it and at the bottom you will find the option to change AutoDesk products.

4. Now start Novapoint and open the AutoCAD software.
