Action Buttons
Pick Object < / Pick Vertical <: is used to initiate elements for alignment from the current drawing. It is possible to choose one or more lines at a time.
Recalculate All: recalculates the geometry and the longitudinal terrain profile of the alignment. The whole alignment will be recalculated and is useful when changing the input data for the current alignment.
OK - Draw: draws the alignment in the current drawing with the active Draw Style Configuration, and the Alignment Design function gets closed.
If the alignment is connected to an alignment task in the Quadri-model the task will be automatically updated with the data.
The alignment in the drawing will contain extended data and will be linked to the Quadri model.
Notes: The OK - Draw button has a pulldown for more options:
OK - saves the alignment to the Quadri-model but does not draw out. Alignment Design will be closed. If the alignment is not connected to an alignment task the data will be discarded.
OK - Draw - as explained above.
OK - Draw as a 3D polyline - draws the alignment as a 3D polyline. Set an appropriate arc deviation value, e.g. 0.05m. Alignment Design will be closed.
OK - Draw with parallel lines - draws the alignment in 2D with offset lines to the width set in Distance to Parallel Lines... The parallel lines will not be updated. They should therefore be erased manually if the horizontal alignment changes. Alignment Design will be closed.
Save only - saves the alignment to the Quadri-model. Alignment Design is still active. This function is normally used when turning off the Automatic Quadri Save in Object since then the saving of an alignment must be done manually.
Cancel - exits the Alignment Design without saving. All changes made will be lost and the alignment in the database is set back to the earlier version.
