Split Long Section from Road Design Task

This function enables you to split an existing long section, making it possible to better adjust the vertical geometry to the frame. Use this if the vertical line/geometry has significant differences in elevation along the path, enabling different parts of the long section to have different reference elevations.

Procedure

Run the function from the following location:

MOUS_ICO Menu: Road > Draw Longitudinal Profile > Split Long section from Road Design Task

Step 1: Select the frame by marking the insertion point of the section.

Step 2: Type in which station you want to split the section.

Step 3: Type in the new datum (elevation) from the selected station.

Step 4: Select Add to store the information in the table (multiple splitting points can be defined).

Step 5: Execute the function by selecting Update.
