With v.2026.1 the Quadri for Windows supports exports to Inframodel 4.2.0. This is a specific LandXML standard for Finland.
Note: Conversion rules and templates are in development between Trimble and Arkance.
We have done a change in the alignment exports with regard to CircCurve in the vertical geometry for Inframodel exports. The radius in vertical geometry for CircCurve now get both positive (sag curve) and negative (summit curve) in the file.
We have changed the logic when exporting surfaces to the same SurfaceName in the LandXML file so that they do not get the sequential numbering added to it as a postfix, but added to the same SurfaceName.
With the release of Novapoint 2026 it will only be compatible with Trimble Drawing 2026.
For Novapoint 2026.1 we recommend to use Trimble Drawing 2026 v.3506 for best compatibility.
For Novapoint Road, Railway and WS tasks there is a new button on the task that enables connecting an already made Automation Rule Set to the task. This makes it possible to run a list of rules at the same time as building the task, and will help adding data to the task features on-the-fly instead of having to run this as a separate process via the Automation Tool.
Rule sets is still created inside a Automation task, but you no longer need a Automation task to run them. It will minimize the process of adding data in this way to the corridor task result features.
CHANGED: Warning when entering dialogs when the alignment is shorter than what is set on the task.
CHANGED: Default from-to chainage under 'All chainage' checkbox now sets the alignment full length on first startup of the dialog.
ENHANCEMENT: Upgrade of tasks via the Corridor Upgrade tool is improved to better support road and railway models that has not been edited since before the Novapoint 19.30 version.
FIXED: Import from LandXML would try to set CANT info, which is not relevant.
FIXED/CHANGED/ENHANCEMENT: General improvement related to results as a follow up after the large change from NP2025.4.
ENHANCEMENT: Distance between lines show a negative distance when the secondary line is on the lefthand side of the main line.
FIXED: Draw CS would crash when there were Design Objects with circles
