3D Model - Cross-Section Along Line
Use this tool to create 3D models out of a cross-section along a line.

This function is also available in the Landscape module
Working Procedure
Start the function and the following dialog appears:
Select Path <3D Polyline> - select the 3D poly in drawing which path you want the section to be drawn along.
Switch Path Direction - It is also possible to switch the path direction, thus the shape to be created will come out the other way around.
Select Cross-Section - select the cross-section (polyline) in the drawing that you want to be drawn along the path line.
Pick a base point of the cross-section.
The cross-section is shown in the display.
Redefine base point - Makes it possible to redefine the base point.
Switch Normal Vector - It is also possible to switch the direction of the normal vector of the cross-section.
Press »Next If “Draw 3D faces” is selected, it is possible to use the shape in order to calculate volumes - see volume_between_tin_models for further help on this.
