Create Rotated View
This function is used to create a view of a section that has been rotated in connection with the coordinate system in AutoCAD's drawing. Give it a name and it will be saved in AutoCAD's Named Views.
Run the function from:
MOUS_ICO Toolbar: Not available from the Toolbar
MOUS_ICO Menu: Novapoint > Drawing Layouts > Create Rotated View
KEYB_ICO Command Line: Not available from the command line
Command prompts for:
View name: Type the desired view name and right-click
Pick lower-left corner [Continue/Undo]: Pick the lower-left corner for the frame.
Pick lower right corner [Continue/Undo]: Pick the lower-right corner for the frame.
Pick upper right corner [Continue/Undo]: Pick the upper-right corner for the frame.
Here you can also use regular AutoCAD Object Snap functions to pick a point in the drawing.
The function Create Rotated View has now made a view, and this can be collected from Layout in the AutoCAD drawing with standard AutoCAD command Named Views.
