Parking Lots
The function will construct parking lots along a selected baseline. The parking area can be constructed parallel, perpendicular, or at an angle to the baseline.
Find it here:
MOUS_ICO Menu: Landscape > Construct Lines and Polygons > Parking Lots
MOUS_ICO Toolbar: Construct Lines and Polygons: Parking Lots
When starting the function you are first asked to pick the baseline.
Pick baseline - Select a line, arc, or polyline in the drawing. The dialog box appears with the parameters that define the parking lots. All parameters are in meters.
Vehicle - Select from a list of predefined standard vehicles. The length and width of the selected vehicles are shown in the fields below, but cannot be changed.
Chainage - This is the insertion point of the parking lots (where you picked the baseline). The chainage/stationing is calculated as the distance from the start of the baseline to the point where you picked the baseline. You can also type in the chainage.
Count - Number of parking lots. The number of parking lots can be chosen with the up and down arrows or you can type it in.
Distance between: This is an extra distance between each parking lot. Parking lots perpendicular (or with an angle) to the baseline will get the extra distance between each parking lot. Parking lots parallel to the baseline will get the extra distance between every second parking lot.
Angle - Angle=0 is parallel to the baseline. Angle=100 is perpendicular to the baseline. You can type in a fixed angle or use the Angle button to drag an angle in the drawing.
Move - Function to move the parking lots along the selected baseline by moving the cursor along the baseline. Press the left mouse button to place it.
Press OK to draw the parking lots.
