Task Selector

Novapoint modules and tools inside the CAD environment, are connected to the Quadri model through tasks. In most cases it is necessary to switch the active task in Quadri that the CAD tool is to work towards, either to read or write data, so that the correct data is accessed.

Within the different Novapoint modules the task selector have a different types of task types available. From the Novapoint menu the task selector has all the available task types to choose from.

NOTE: Presentation task types, like Plan, Long-section, and Cross-sections, are not listed here. They are not considered design task types. The presentation tasks are only available inside appropriate tools, f.ex. found in the Draw Quadri chunk.

Inside the task selector dialog the available tasks are presented in a drop-down list, with one list pr task type.

Pick the task(s) you would like to have active and close the dialog to continue.

When picking the task to have active, this can be done via the drop-down, or via the [...] on the right side.
