Create Area, Select in Area
Use this tool to generate an area where by pointing at an internal point of the area enclosed by objects.

MOUS_ICO Menu: Terrain > Areas > Create area, select in area
MOUS_ICO Toolbar: > Area > Create area, select in area
Working procedure
Start the function and the command prompts:
Specify internal point or [Advanced options]:
Pick a point in the middle of the lines/arcs/polylines that surrounds the area to define. A new 2D polyline that defines the area will be created and seen as a stippled line. If the stippled polyline defines the wanted area, press 'Enter' or right click on the mouse
A new 2D polyline of the area will be created in the active AutoCAD Layer
Tip: You can create many areas at the same time by continuously picking the mid points in the areas before pressing 'Enter'.
Advanced options
Boundary set - Defines the set of objects that the function analyzes as the boundary for the new area.
Island detection - Possibility to detect internal closed boundaries, called islands
Object type - Defines the object type of the new area, Region, or Polyline.
