Pipe

Horizontal Window

On top of the menu, you find information identifying the selected element, what type of element it is and where it is.

Shortcut menu for pipe has the following selections:

Vertex

Move

The function is used for moving the endpoint of a pipe. Place the crosshair upon the pipe to be moved, press the right mouse button and select Move from the menu. The function grabs hold of the end of the pipe closest to the crosshair.

The command prompts for:

Position (x,y,z):

Click in the drawing where you want the pipe end to be moved.

The elevation is not being altered.

If you know the coordinates to where the pipe end is to be moved, you may just as well key in the coordinates from the keyboard.

Delete

The function is used for deleting a pipe from a section. Place the crosshair upon the pipe to be deleted, press the right mouse button and select Delete from the menu. The dialogue box Delete Pipe - <Pipe Type> appears.

Confirm delete by clicking Yes or cancel by clicking No.

The function deletes only the pipes, the connections in each end are not altered.

Level (z)

The function is used for changing the elevation of one of the ends of the pipe. Place the crosshair upon the pipe to be altered, press the right mouse button and select Level (z) from the menu. The function takes effect for the end of the pipe closest to the crosshair.

The command prompts for:

Level <Elevation> :

Key in the desired elevation. Please notice that only the pipe is altered, not the connection it is attached to.

Delete

The function is used for deleting a pipe in a section. Place the crosshair upon the pipe to be deleted, press the right mouse button and select Delete from the menu. The dialogue box Delete Pipe - <Pipe Type> appears.

Confirm delete by clicking Yes or cancel by clicking No.

The function deletes only the pipe, the connections in each end are not altered.
