Draw Trench
What
This function draws the trench of a design in 2D or 3D with different drawing styles.
It is possible to draw surface edges, slope symbols, flow direction arrows and hatch surface in one operation, or split in into more operations.
Drawing rules will be saved for all saved models as a standard.
User-defined setup can be established and saved with desired destination.
The tool will only display data from calculated trench.

The function is located here:
How
Use the function the following way:
Step 1: Start the function.
Step 2: Select which trench to draw.
Step 3: Draw the whole trench or add a start and end point.
Step 4: Select drawing style.
Step 5: It is possible to add center line.
Step 6: End with Draw.
Use a shorter cross section interval, for instance 1.0 m. This makes the model better with sharp horizontal angles. Models based on shorter intervals will as well give more exact quantity reports.
Draw Surface Edges
Mark the check box to include all edges to marked surfaces
Can also choose to only draw edges of some surfaces
Remember to uncheck choices for eventual drawing rules for surfaces on the right and left side
Draw Slope Symbols
Mark the check box to include slope symbols in the presentation.
With this option one can specify drawing rule for the slope symbols.
Use the left pane to specify drawing options (on both or only left or right side).
One can also select between different symbol types, and specify the layer, color and lineweight to be used.
Draw Flow Direction
These arrows indicates downwards slope direction along with the trench
Choose on which surfaces the slope arrows should be drawn
Draw Hatched Surface
This tool can be used to generate clear plan presentation drawings
Specify colors for different surfaces, or choose predefined layers with different colors and use 'Bylayer' colors
