Controlled
The function generates a path from the start position of the vehicle to the position of the cursor. Each time the cursor is moved the direction of the vehicle changes. The vehicle stops temporarily if the cursor is reached or if the position of the cursor cannot be reached.
Run the function form the following locations:
MOUS_ICO Toolbar: Vehicle Track Analyzer - Make/Edit Path: Controlled
MOUS_ICO Menu: Road > Vehicle Track Analyzer > Make/Edit Path > Controlled…
Note: When the function Controlled is active (the vehicle follows the cursor), some keys on the keyboard perform special actions.
KEYB_ICO T
Stops the vehicle. The front wheels may be turned towards the position of the cursor. The path may be continued with Pick in the Drawing Area.
KEYB_ICO U
Stops the vehicle and UNDO(es) the last "step". Pressing U will roll back more steps. Pick in the Drawing Area stops the driving.
Note: In this function, the path line includes transition curves, which are the curves the vehicle follows when the wheels are turned.
