Position Number and Bill of Materials (BOM)

What

This function is used to generate a report with the bill of materials (BOM). You can also get the position number on the objects you've selected.

Where

The function is in the Product library tab in the Novapoint ribbon.

How

You use the function in the following way:

Step 1: Start the function by clicking on it.

Step 2: Choose which type of BOM you want, and/or check for position number (see picture below).

Step 3: Draw a box around the objects you want to include. Now, position number and a bill of materials will be generated. The bill of materials will be generated with the available information of the objects you've included.

Note: Remember to have Microsoft Excel installed on the computer. The bill of materials will be generated in a Microsoft excel sheet. An error will occur if it is not installed.
