Create Water Drop Line on 3DFaces

On the basis of a triangle model (in the drawing), this function calculates and draws a line to the lowest point of a triangle side and continues the same process in the adjacent triangle, provided that there are lower heights in this. The function is very suitable for visualizing water run-offs and localizing critical low points for water accumulations.

Notes:

• The function reads the elevation from the active model.

• Triangle Model is to be generated and drawn to the AutoCAD drawing as 3Dface lines before initiating the function.

Run the function from:

MOUS_ICO Toolbar: Not available from the Toolbar

MOUS_ICO Menu: Novapoint > Terrain Information > Create Water Drop Line from 3Dfaces

KEYB_ICO Command Line: Not available from the command line

Command prompts for:

You have to choose one of the following: poly)Line, Single points or Gravity points <Single (is the default)>

Specify start point: Pick a start point/line inside a triangle. The program searches for the lowest elevation points and draws the lines joining the lowest elevation points. Choose the wanted Color of arrows or press enter for Bylayer.
