Expanded Project Ownership Support: Previously, QfW could not be used in projects where the Shared Object Model was not owned by an account with a Quadri Business Premium license. This restriction has now been removed. QfW now supports all projects with an activated Shared Object Model, regardless of the owner's license tier. Access is now determined solely by the license tier of the signed-in user. This improvement relates to the Desktop Application Access section in the Simplified Shared Object Model Activation in Trimble Connect product update bulletin.

FIXED: Using Save as Task Template for Road, Railway and WS tasks failed to also store the calculation basis and illustration objects for reuse.
NOTE: As part of Novapoint 2025.4 an IFC Feature Catalogue is released on Quadri for Windows.
When starting Quadri with the Novapoint extension it does no discriminate on the feature catalogue in use on the project.
Because of this, Novapoint will be available on these projects also.
For Novapoint we have some templates prepared and we are continously improving the support in our tools, but they are in BETA mode and not intended for production.
With the release of Novapoint 2026 it will only be compatible with Trimble Drawing 2026.
For Novapoint 2026.3 we recommend to use Trimble Drawing 2026 v.3521 for best compatibility.
CHANGED: From Novapoint 2026.3 the function Alignment Design from Points that uses NovaTrack and NovaRehab are disconnected from the regular Novapoint installation as part of cyber security measures. The changes applies to Alignment Design from Ref.Points found in Alignment Design.
The tools uses old redistributables that are vounerable for malicious attacks and until there is an improved solution in place the solution is removed for all users. For users still in need of the tools there is a separate installation that has to be run on top of the regular installation. The files are available where you find the Novapoint Downloads.
Users starting these functions will see a message box if the tool is not installed.
ENHANCEMENT: Use of design objects with curved geometry is improved and also works with mirroring.
FIXED: Design objects with many points caused issues.
ENHANCEMENT: Roundings now uses more methods to try and find a fit, inserting a rounding with smaller radius if needed to find tangentiality to the road and terrain surface. The used rounding value is showing in the cross-section viewer as two values if the desired radius is not possible.
FIXED: Sodding did not appear as expected where the model had boundaries in the road surface description.
FIXED: Handling beam slope correctly in more cases.
